Volunteers often come with the expectation to plant trees for Earth Day. While we absolutely love planting trees, April is a time to care for plants that were recently installed during the PNW’s most appropriate planting window of November to early March.

While the planting season has come to a close, there are so many ways to celebrate earth day here in the greater Seattle area, check out below for upcoming events or volunteer with GSP this Earth Month through CEDAR. Learn more about why we don’t plant trees for Earth Day here.
