Green Seattle Day 2025 is coming up fast on October 25th, 2025! Find more information, the full event list, and sign-up links on our website. Here are some tips, tricks, and FAQs to help you get involved!

Tips:

  1. Sign up early! You can find all 17 Green Seattle Day events on the CEDAR registration page. Events have participant capacities, so sign up early to reserve your spot!

  1. Volunteer with your friends and family for extra fun! Many of us lead busy lives and struggle to balance attending community events with spending meaningful time with our loved ones. Do both at Green Seattle Day! Reach out to a close friend, or maybe even someone you haven’t seen recently. Volunteering together at Green Seattle Day can be a great way to reconnect with those in our lives while restoring our parks. We will even have puzzle piece stickers so that participants that volunteer together can have interlocking stickers. Don’t forget to carpool!

  1. Get pumped for Green Seattle Day swag! We will have GSP bandanas, temporary tattoos, and a variety of stickers at all Green Seattle Day events. We are excited to share our designs and provide opportunities for participants to share their love for Seattle parks through GSP swag.

Tricks:

  1. Picking the best Green Seattle Day event for you. Use the Map feature on CEDAR to view events by location. Volunteering at a park near your home can help you feel connected to your local community. You may even meet a neighbor at the event! Alternatively, Green Seattle Day can also be an opportunity to discover a new park or area of Seattle. Consider volunteering in a neighborhood you have been curious to visit and check out the area before or after your event.

  1. Connecting with your event lead and other volunteers. Getting to know other volunteers at Green Seattle Day event is a highlight for many volunteers. Arriving early to your event can ensure you have time to mingle with folks at your event before restoration work begins. Consider getting to your event 10 minutes early to meet folks, and save time at the end of the event to chat!

  1. Navigating group sign up.  You can sign up multiple participants and small groups through the volunteer event pages. Click “Join this event” at the bottom of the event page and submit participant information for each member of your party (see Screenshot 1). Select the Group Type and add a Group Name for each participant to link them to your group. You can email the event host on the CEDAR registration page to let them know that your group will be attending and ask any questions (see Screenshot 2).
